A 2005 Wetherspoons menu has resurfaced, prompting fans to call for the UK chain to bring back some vintage gems.
Many have also noticed how much prices have increased at the popular chain over the past 19 years.
And while the chain’s steak and curry nights persist, customers are surprised that some dishes have disappeared entirely.

But Spoons now charges £4.55 for a small Chardonnay.

Some fans of the chain have been seen discussing the price increases online.
One said: ‘Those were the days.’
“So there are some better meals on the menu,” noted another. “I miss lamb shank.”
Meanwhile, another said: “It’s shocking how little things have increased in 20 years.”
Online, fans of the chain lamented the rise in prices over the past nearly 20 years, and some called for the return of old dishes.
“Now people think that having a Sunday dinner with Aunt Bessies served in polystyrene and delivered to a local pub or cafe is a bargain at £15.”
Meanwhile, another added: “Wish they were like this now but still decent for today.”
