David and Victoria Beckham have been praised by Super Bowl viewers for their hilarious Uber Eats commercial.

The former footballer, 48, and his fashion designer wife, 49, were called the “best part” of the night, with several fans saying they were “still laughing” at the hysterical announcement.

The star-studded commercial is based on the premise that to remember what Uber Eats offers you must forget something else and “make a little space in your brain.”

It also features appearances by Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, rapper Jelly Roll and singer Usher.

In the ad, people are seen forgetting important details, such as Jennifer not remembering who David is or Jelly Roll forgetting that he has tattoos on his face.

One scene shows the Beckhams in their kitchen, with David saying to former Spice Girl Victoria: “Do you remember when you used to be Pepper Lady?”

Victoria, hilariously wearing a T-shirt that says “David’s Wife,” responds, “Wasn’t it the Cinnamon Sisters?”

Then David suggests: ‘Basil Babes?’ while Victoria guesses: ‘Paprika Girls’, prompting David to scoff: ‘No, that’s absurd.’

The hilarious clip was praised on social media, with one person gushing: “My favorite couple Victoria and David Beckham in the #SuperBowl ads.” It really keeps giving!’

Another excitedly tweeted: ‘VICTORIA BECKHAM’S SUPERBOWL COMMERCIAL IS ON,’ while a third admitted: ‘Avoiding Victoria Beckham’s Instagram so her Uber eats the Superbowl ad doesn’t ruin me.’

A fourth person wrote: “I hope everyone else is still laughing too when David Beckham asks if Victoria used to be the pepper girl lol.”

Someone else added: “The David and Victoria Beckham bit was the best part for me,” while a sixth echoed: “Funny ad for once.” I love it’.

One dedicated person admitted that they had stayed up to watch the ad, saying, “Staying up to watch the Super Bowl is the most righteous thing I’ve ever done in my life.” Staying up to watch the Super Bowl in case they pull the Wicked trailer, watching Victoria Beckham in an ad and in case Usher takes off his shirt is the gayest thing I’ve ever done in my life.’

But another complained that the couple didn’t take the opportunity to reference the most powerful couple of the moment, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

They wrote: ‘So you’re telling me that David and Victoria Beckham are in a Super Bowl ad and they didn’t make the obvious joke about being a famous sports star and a famous pop star together?’

It comes after David and Victoria made another funny video to tease the Super Bowl ad, in which they recreated the viral moment from their Beckham documentary where David tells his wife to be “honest” about her upbringing in middle class.

The hilarious, error-filled ad shows the famous duo forgetting the name of the game and the big star they’ve recruited to appear in the commercial.

The clip begins with Victoria, sitting in a My Dad Had a Rolls-Royce t-shirt, saying, “So David and I are going to be in a little commercial…”

David then poked his head into the frame, Beckham-like, reminding her, “Be honest, be honest!”, about the size of the ad they appear in.

Correcting himself, he says: ‘Okay. He is a great salesman.

Then he says, ‘Tell them what it’s during,’ and Victoria says, ‘It’s during the big baseball game.’

As David chimes in, “Super, great baseball game,” and Victoria asks, “Oh, was it the Hockey Bowl?”, before David agrees that it was.

Finally, they reveal that the big guest star in their announcement is none other than ‘Jessica’ Aniston, while David confirms that they both ‘love Jessica’.

Victoria created one of the most memorable moments in her husband’s documentary when she claimed to have had a “working class” upbringing, even though her father owned a Rolls Royce.

In the documentary clip, Victoria stated that her family was “very hardworking, working class.”

David interrupted, incredulous, and asked Victoria to be honest to which she replied: ‘I am!’ He then repeatedly asked Victoria to reveal which car her father used to take her to school.

The singer finally relented and said: ‘It’s okay. In the eighties my father had a Rolls-Royce.

“Thank you,” David replied, and immediately walked out and closed the door behind him, his job done.

Super Bowl ads have become a cultural phenomenon of their own along with the championship game, and high-profile stars are often recruited for the commercials.

Companies have shelled out about $7 million per piece for a 30-second ad hoping to capitalize on the hype.

Other notable commercials included a Dunkin’s ad starring another power couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.

The clip follows Ben trying to appear on J.Lo’s album with her group, ‘The DunKings’, which includes Matt Damon and Tom Brady.

Another big star who appeared was Beyoncé, who took off into outer space in a Verizon ad.

As Arnold Schwarzenegger struggles to pronounce the State Farm slogan before Danny DeVito steps in to save the day in another hilarious commercial.

Sir Anthony Hopkins transformed into Wrexham AFC mascot Wrex the Dragon to promote STōK Cold Brew Coffee.

Elsewhere, Jenna Ortega appeared in a Doritos ad, Kris Jenner poked fun at herself for Oreos, Scarlett Johannsson promoted M&Ms, and Aubrey Plaza reunited with her Parks and Recreation co-star Nick Offerman for Mountain Dew.
