A couple were caught having sex in a car in broad daylight, just steps from a busy tourist beach.

The two were spotted getting intimate in a blue people mover in the car park next to Coogee Oval in Sydney’s eastern suburbs by a man during his lunch break on Monday.

The shocked onlooker had parked a few meters from the loving couple while another man ate lunch on a bench almost right next to the car.

“The people in the car next to me didn’t seem to be waiting to get home to have some fun,” the man wrote in a social media post with footage of the steamy tryst.

Footage recorded by the giggling man shows the couple tried to cover themselves by pinning a towel to the passenger side window.

The loving couple could clearly be seen enjoying the moment as the man’s head looked out the left rear window as he reclined on the fully reclined seat.

A second video posted by the viewer shortly after shows the couple appearing to kiss during the moment of passion.

Residents were left shocked by the footage, with one simply commenting: “No way! »

The incident was not reported to NSW Police or Randwick City Council, their spokespersons confirmed.
