- West Ham could sign right-back Kieran Trippier this summer
- The Irons have added the Newcastle defender to their list of targets.
- Julen Lopetegui’s team are also in talks with Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka
West Ham have added Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier to their list of right-back options while holding talks with Manchester United over Aaron Wan Bissaka.
The 33-year-old joined Newcastle in 2022 and his contract with the Magpies is set to expire next year.
Trippier has also endured a difficult season, with the former Tottenham and Burnley defender struggling to find form during the 2023-24 campaign.
The England international, who also featured for the Three Lions at Euro 2024, made 39 appearances for Newcastle last season and suffered a calf injury which ruled him out of the team for the latter part of the campaign.
West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui is reportedly keen on signing a new full-back, with the London club stepping up their attempts to sign Wan-Bissaka.

The Hammers have also been in talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.
Julen Lopetegui’s side (pictured) are interested in signing a new right-back this summer, with Wan-Bissaka available for £18m.
The Manchester United defender is also in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and has been linked with a number of clubs, including West Ham.
The Red Devils want around £18m for the right-back and if Wan-Bissaka leaves the club, United are set to hold further negotiations with Noussair Mazraoui.
