Were you guilty of eyebrow blindness? Horrified women share funny photos from the past showing their wild looks

In recent decades, a multitude of eyebrow trends have emerged that have conquered the world of beauty.

From the thin “sperm” brows of the early 2000s, to the Kylie Jenner-inspired “block brows” of 2016, to today’s pointy brows, we’ve seen it all.

Not to mention all the viral products that have piled up, like Anastasia Brow Dip and Wunderbrow gel.

But when you look back on your previous brow styles from years past, you might be thinking, ‘What the heck was I doing?’

Now TikTok has invented a name for it: “eyebrow blindness.”

Medical aesthetician Cassandra Bankson explained the term to USA Todaydefining it as “being blind to something that is fashionable (but) not necessarily good for your long-term health or beauty.”

Comedian Taylor Tomlinson He also spoke about the phenomenon during a recent episode of his show, After Midnight, on CBS.

She joked that it was a “very common medical problem” where you can’t tell that your eyebrows “look crazy.”

The viral term has taken over the app, with tons of users posting really funny and shocking videos of what their eyebrows used to look like.

And, it seems there was also a wide range of “brow blindness” that people had, from super thin to super thick to almost none at all.

A TikTok user named Bryn Sato took to the app to show off her impressive ‘eyebrow blindness’ in a video that has already reached more than 4.2 million views.

“I think I’ve won the eyebrow blindness trend,” she captioned the clip.

Sato showed viewers what her eyebrows look like now: dark and full, and then dramatically flashed back to what they looked like before, when they were extremely thin at the tips and thick at the inner corners.

In the comments section, viewers went wild as many admitted that their jaws dropped after seeing these photos.

They were even compared to apostrophes.

‘SINFO’, wrote one person.

Another agreed: “Yes, you win.”

‘Nooooo apostrophes, I had bricks bro,’ someone else joked.

But the creator of TikTok Jenell Hitch Garrett I had the opposite problem.

She showed some fun pictures of what her eyebrows looked like, when she penciled them in to make them look extremely thick and square.

Garrett admitted in the caption that she wished someone had stopped her.

Since then, the TikTok has reached over 3.5 million views, with tons of commenters shocked by what they were seeing.

“Your actual eyebrow is poking out like ‘It’s me! Jessica! I’m here!'” one viewer wrote.

“The fact that you can see your natural brown through the pencil color is because I didn’t color match it properly,” wrote another.

Another TikTok user, Katie Gray, He also suffered from the anomaly, but in a rather unique way.

Gray showed that she used to line the tops of her brows with pencil, but didn’t fill them in completely, sending viewers into a tailspin.

“It’s like you get bored halfway through,” someone else wrote.

Another wondered: “Did you get tired and not finish?”

‘Girl… mixing is a thing,’ one user noted.

Eyebrow blindness even affects Professional hair and makeup artist Izzy too.

She admitted that she used to paint her eyebrows every day, while flipping through images in a viral TikTok video illustrating the fact that hers were often extremely thick, dark, and heavily lined.

It was a stark contrast to his blonde hair at the moment.

Izzy wrote in the comments that someone had compared her old eyebrows to potato wedges, which she joked “traumatized” her even more.
