Marie Noel, 59, was at her home in Walthamstow, east London, on December 26 when she heard birds squawking, something she said was unusual.

The grandmother-of-three said she was “speechless” when she watched the video on her phone and could only come up with one explanation.
She said: “It was an alien type thing, that’s my explanation, I can’t think of anything else it could be.” It wasn’t a person or a machine, so I don’t know. It didn’t look like fog either.

She said: “I went to open my bedroom window at about 7pm and saw bright orange flames moving slowly or objects flying in a procession.
“I’d never seen anything like it before and took some pictures.”
