Natalie Portman’s baby bump has been on full display with “months” still to go before her due date as she makes the rounds to promote her latest project.
The Jackie star spoke about family, food, and how she handled the role of the famous First Lady The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday.
Elaine decided to have a little fun with her guest. She tried to guess the gender of the star’s second child with husband Benjamin Millepied.

The host was so confident, so wrong, five years ago that the couple’s first child, Alf, would be a girl.
This time she felt confident enough to up the ante with a big bet on the sex of the star’s second child after hearing about the star’s cravings.
“Looks like it would be in my best interest because you were wrong last time,” Natalie said.
“I had a 50-50 shot and I committed to that and now I’m committed to that,” Elaine said.
With her first child, the Oscar winner wanted sweets all the time.
I wanted, like, cream puffs or like any dessert with cream in it, or just pain whipped cream, she said, straight up.
This is not the case this time.
She added, “This time it looks healthy, like a pineapple, cucumber and burrito!” Which is probably less healthy, but…delicious.
That was all Elaine needed to hear. “I think you will have a girl,” she said.

Natalie is impressed with her chances and the two are blown away before she knows the terms.
When the actor asked what they were betting, Elaine said, “Like…a thousand dollars.”
Natalie laughed in surprise and said, ‘I was thinking about pizza. or burritos.
Ellen didn’t want to fight, and agreed to a thousand dollars and a pizza.

With the official end of business, the conversation turned to the performance of the actor, producer and director in Pablo Larraín’s Jackie.
In order to prepare for the role, the 35-year-old told Ellen she had to study beyond the ‘broad strokes’ she already knew about the life, style, and demeanor of title character Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis.
I also worked for about a month with a dialect coach to bring out the late First Lady’s distinctive accent.

Portman then shared a little-known fact about the symbol with the public.

“It’s really weird to think that the First Lady is so close to receiving an Emmy,” she said.
The actress found it particularly useful for portraying her voice because Jackie talks a lot on the show.
