Good evening. The Duke of Sussex launched his phone hacking claim to prevent his wife Meghan from falling victim to abuse, the High Court has heard. We also have the latest news about the collapse of the Kakhovka dam, as Volodymyr Zelensky warned that hundreds of thousands of people were without drinking water.
Prince Harry returns to the Supreme Court
Our royal editor Victoria district writes that Harry was encouraged for his second day in court, but still failed to throw a punch.
Asked when he first approached lawyers to make a claim against Mirror Group Newspapers, Harry said it happened when he talked about ways to protect his then-new wife.
The Duke also claimed he may have been hacked “daily” over a 15-year period, but admitted he had no evidence to show he had been targeted. You can read what the Duke had to say in the Supreme Court on our live blog.
Rose Silverman has a piece on Harry and the problem of ‘process addiction’.
