Used Furrari Dealer! Adorable website bills itself as Carvana for rescue cats in need of a home – even felines get car-inspired names
- A woman who manages social media for a cat rescue shelter has created a set of ads inspired by Carvana, but for the cute kitten instead
- Kayla Delcoure created the ads after seeing her husband looking for a truck
- The classifieds are actually for Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue in Georgia
A woman who volunteers for an animal shelter in Georgia has created a mock-up of a pet adoption website based on the used car website Carvana.
Kayla Delcoure created lists for cats looking for their fur, all under the guise of Cat-vana having been inspired by her husband’s search for a new truck.
Lists of felines for Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue in Lawrenceville, Georgia were all simulated and based to look like vehicle listings and include hilarious details such as year, make and model information such as a Furrari, Apura or Pursche.
Clever advertising has seen offers such as a 2022 Catillac Simon with impact sensors and green headlights or, for the sportier types, a 2014 Furrari Arlis with custom white decals and heated seat.
Also on the showroom floor are a 2015 Furcedes called Buddy and a 2022 Meowzda called Cassie.
These feline listings for Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue in Lawrenceville, Georgia were all simulated and based on vehicle listings.
The listings were all based to look like vehicle listings and include hilarious details such as year, make, and model information like a Furrari, Pursche, or in this case, a Catillac.
This Pursche is much cheaper than a Porsche at just $150 with four legs and a power nap.
Catvana mockups were inspired by Carvana and found success with online users

For those looking for a cute companion, a 2023 Mini Pooper with two-tone exterior and all-legged drive is on offer – or how about a two-speed automatic (nap and ZOOM) with self-cleaning capabilities?
Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue was created in 2021. Delcoure suggested creating the classifieds to generate publicity.
“My inspiration for CatVana is uneventful with humor,” said Delcoure NPR.
“My husband has been wanting to buy a truck for months and sometimes brings his phone to me to show me the ads. While I was thinking of cute ways to display all nine available Pippi’s Place cats in one message, my husband walked in in my office to show me a list of trucks.
“Different funny descriptions kept popping into my head like ‘four legged drive’, ‘rear air vent’ and the like, so I continued and made the individual lists as well” , she explained.
The profiles show great attention to detail that both car and cat lovers will appreciate.
Delcoure said her favorite ad she made was for a cat known as Mr. Goodbar, a “Mini Pooper 2023”.
“His list was the last one I needed to create and I knew I wanted it to be something adorable and for his size. I happen to own and love a Mini Cooper and I knew the ‘mini’ part would suit it perfectly, so that’s what I chose!” she said.
the original Reddit Wednesday’s post also caught the eye of online users with nearly 65,000 upvotes.
