Jane Bunn has revealed that it was an emotional night during the Trevor Barker Award 2019 in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
The annual award ceremony recognizes the St Kilda Football Club player who has been voted best and fairest by the Australian Football League.
And this year's ceremony came just days after the tragic death of former St. Kilda Captain Danny Frawley.

Jane, who went to Instagram on Wednesday, shared a smiling photo of herself on the red carpet during the event.

The prize was named in honor of former St Kilda player Trevor Barker, who lost his battle with colon cancer at the age of 39 in April 1996.
But more than 20 years later, the beloved football club faces another loss, following the tragic death of Danny on September 9.
The football legend only lost his fight against mental illness one day after his 56th birthday on 8 September.

Danny's car was slammed against a tree near Ballarat in Victoria, where the football was declared dead on the spot.
