Star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is confident about India’s performance in the upcoming five-match Test series against Australia Down Under, starting at the end of this year. Cricket Australia recently released the schedule of their upcoming home summer, which includes the visit of India for a five-match Test series with Perth hosting the opening match. The series begins on November 22 and further testing will be held in Adelaide (day-night), Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney until the start of the new year.

It will be the first time since the summer of 1991/92 that Australia and India will play a five-match series as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which will give both teams a good chance to further their places in next year’s competition to reinforce. ICC World Test Championship Final.

“Look, you want to stay in the game all the time. You might not start a series very well. You still have to be able to dig into that mental fortitude to come back. The one thing I would say about Australia is that: Like England, all these locations are standard locations. Like Melbourne, like Sydney. We know what to expect there. Sometimes it can be a challenge. Look, I think… this part of Indian cricket doesn’t do it that way good as it. That has to be done in a way that we don’t welcome you in conditions that are extremely difficult. That’s exactly what Australia is trying to do. They’re putting us in Perth first. Because the change of pace will be different,” said Ashwin spoke up Club Prairie Fire podcast.

“We go into the series with the best possible intentions. They are doing everything they can to start the series. So you should never take an Australian team lightly. That is because of the kind of experience they will have. Their bowling attack would probably Having 500 Tests between them. We (Indian team) may not have that kind of experience, but still I think the belief that we will take them on will be quite high,” he added.
