Meghan Markle should visit her father Thomas, who has been hospitalized for a stroke but is currently not in contact with him, a royal expert has claimed.

Tom Bower, an investigative journalist currently working on a biography of the Duchess, 40, told Good Morning Britain today that he spoke to Thomas Markle over the weekend.

He said: ‘If we knew what she was going to do, that would be fantastic. But what we do know is that Meghan has always said that she is a very compassionate person.

And if compassion were needed right now, it would mean she would go to her father’s bedside, about a two-and-a-half hour drive south of where he lives, and give him some comfort and reassurance. We wait to see what happens.
