British TikToker Erin Cloudy was renovating her home when she made a shocking discovery: a hidden door under the stairs that led to a secret room “as big as her apartment” and a network of underground tunnels.
He shared a video on TikTok and took viewers to explore his strange new property.

Posting under her name @erincloudy, she shared the moment she and the people working on the renovation with her stumbled upon the hidden door.
Filming the incredible discovery, Erin said: “Under the stairs, we knocked it down, and you look through this hole and it’s just a bloody staircase.” What the fuck? and a door?
Someone who was helping her with the renovation noticed: “It goes down even further,” with another staircase behind the door leading into darkness.
Unable to hide their surprise, they walked through the door and exclaimed, ‘It’s as big as your apartment down here. Oh Lord’.
The video cut off just before they reached the secret room, but Erin quickly filmed a second part to keep viewers informed.
She wrote in the caption: “So my apartment is a ‘basement flat’ – nothing has been mentioned below me, either verbally or in writing.” “We were curious about how to store things under the stairs and decided to take a look.”
Following the hidden tunnel, they found themselves in a huge underground room, with an old fireplace and a light on.

The TikToker wrote: ‘I can’t stand this building! I wasn’t scared before but I am now! As you can see, there are a couple of rooms I would have to crawl into and I’m not sure I’d be willing to do that.
‘I want to know what the purpose of them was and why they don’t have full size doors! Any ideas?’

‘So when I look closer, there is a window, which I think is the window to the secret room. Let’s clean this up and get in there.
“Also, when I looked at the house before I bought it, this little top part of the window had a bunch of flower pots, so I didn’t really see that part.”

Most viewers, however, were left terrified by the discovery, joking to keep them informed of any ‘paranormal activity’ and that the bars were broken due to a ‘demon’.
