Ohio’s best-known weatherman has deleted his social media and disappeared from television after being filmed in a road rage incident that left an elderly couple bleeding and unconscious on the tarmac.
Veteran WCPO forecaster Steve Raleigh was with his sons Kyle and Carter when his Cadillac Escalade crashed into a Ford F-150 after failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
Moments later, the driver of the Ford, Douglas Morrow, 79, was on the ground next to his wife Lois, 76, who suffered a fractured skull, bleeding on the brain and a detached retina.
The Cadillac is owned by the weatherman’s father-in-law, former Hamilton County sheriff and attorney Simon L Leis, Jr. And pressure is mounting on Cincinnati police to explain why there have been no arrests since the June 22 incident, which also involved Red Sox legend Kevin Youkilis.
“These were locally famous people and I believe they are above the law in my opinion,” wrote the couple’s daughter, Stacey Morrow-Stickrod, who posted a video. “I 100 percent believe one more punch would have killed her.”

Lois Morrow, 76, was left unconscious with a fractured skull, bleeding on the brain and a detached retina after an incident with the Raleigh family in a Cincinnati parking lot.
Carter, 28, is believed to have been driving his grandfather’s car when he crashed into the Morrows’ car in the parking lot of the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on Riverside Drive.
Stacey said the famous family was furious when her father decided to call the police because he smelled alcohol and suspected they had been drinking.
“This caused people to attack my brother and both of my parents,” she wrote.
‘That night, my mother suffered the brunt of the injuries. She was admitted to the UC hospital for a few days and is still receiving treatment.
‘He was knocked unconscious and suffered a concussion, skull fracture, brain bleeding, bruising on the back of his head which was stapled shut and the lens that had been placed in his eye was dislodged and needs to be replaced. He had many cuts and bruises on his arms and legs.
‘My father also suffered a concussion and was knocked unconscious. I’m not going to say who was responsible until he is arrested and charged because I don’t want to jeopardize the case.
“I just want all the witnesses to come forward and all the videos that were recorded to be uploaded, because there were a lot of witnesses.”
Youkilis took to Facebook to deny rumors that he had been with the Raleighs the night after he was recognized in the footage, insisting he simply happened upon the incident while in town to stream a Red Sox-Reds game.
The veteran meteorologist was pictured on video showing Lois and her husband Douglas, 79, unconscious and bleeding as their son tended to them.
Raleigh was confronted in the video by Red Sox legend Kevin Youkilis, who had been dining at the same restaurant before the car crash that led to the incident.
Youkilis admitted that he “got furious after what I saw and used some rather colourful language.”
Douglas and Lois were treated for their injuries at UC Hospital, according to their daughter.

“Unfortunately, I arrived a little late and saw a horrible chain of events unfold,” he explained.
‘My intentions after what I witnessed were to help the two people on the ground and protect anyone else from getting hurt.
“I got a little angry after what I saw and used some colorful language in the video.”
Grainy footage shows a woman repeatedly shouting “Stop!” before Raleigh Sr. is seen pushing someone.
“Please, someone call 911,” the woman pleads as the camera pans to the 79-year-old man, lying prostrate and clutching his head.
His unconscious wife appears on the scene as a male voice is heard shouting, “That’s fucking ridiculous.”
A man believed to be Steve Raleigh is then seen standing over the pensioner on the ground before saying: “Kevin, listen to me, f*** that, f*** that.”
Youkilis leans over Lois to check on her as another voice is heard shouting, “God, really? He ran over a fucking woman. He’s bleeding.”
“You’re a disgrace to that damn Red Sox brand,” someone yells.
“Go back to Boston.”
In a Facebook update, Stacy thanked Youkilis for his intervention on behalf of her parents.
“There were at least 50 people in the place when this happened because it was closing time for the restaurant,” she wrote. “Only one, Kevin Youkilis, saved my mother and stopped this attack.
“He was definitely her guardian angel that night. I also believe he was there with them, but he was willing to fight for her!”
WCPO lists among its “core values” “holding the powerful accountable, no matter where it leads us.”
On July 12, WCPO Vice President and General Manager Jeff Brogan said the station was “aware of the incident involving Steve Raleigh’s family.”
“It is still under investigation and at this time no charges have been filed against anyone,” he added. a declaration.
‘Steve shared his version of the incident with our leaders. His account is consistent with the police report, which does not name him, and with what we have reviewed on video.
“The video does not show the incident from start to finish. We will closely follow the official results.”

Lois was photographed unconscious and bleeding from her head in the parking lot of the Montgomery Inn Boathouse, but the restaurant said its security cameras were off at the time.
But thousands of people left comments on the Facebook post criticizing the station for its response, with many calling for Raleigh to be fired.
“I guess there are some among us who are above the law after all,” wrote one. “I now have a different opinion of Steve Raleigh. I’m done with WCPO!”
“It doesn’t matter if we didn’t watch the whole video. What we saw was enough!” added another. “It was one of the most disturbing things I’ve seen in a long time!”
The Cincinnati Police Department report says “a man named Carter pushed another father” and that they believe the suspect in the assault was under the influence of alcohol.
A manager at The Boathouse said Rhythm of the city that the restaurant does not have security footage of the parking lot because there were no cameras working at the time.
The names of the two suspects and five victims were redacted from the incident report and no arrests have been made.
“It was a traffic accident that turned into an assault, which caused our officers to be called,” CPD Lt. Jonathan Cunningham told the website.
