Wayne’s World star Tia Carrere, 57, puts on a busty display in a sparkling minidress as she leads the stars at AARP’s Reel Inspirations Luncheon

Tia Carrere looked every inch the glamorous movie star at AARP’s Reel Inspirations Luncheon on Monday.

The 57-year-old Wayne’s World veteran, accustomed to stealing the show on the red carpet, effortlessly radiated charm and beauty at the Los Angeles event.

Dressed in a peach minidress embellished with sparkling crystals, the Honolulu, Hawaii-born beauty appeared in high spirits as she flashed her megawatt smile.

She let her natural beauty take center stage by opting for minimal makeup, accessorized with a snakeskin bag and open-toed white heels.

Tia led stars at the event, including The View alum Lisa Ling, who stunned in a bright green jacket and black capri pants.

The red carpet event comes after Tia opened up about becoming an empty nester as her daughter, Bianca, heads off to college next year.

During an interview on the radio program Q with Tom Power In August 2022, Tia spoke about celebrating the film’s 30th anniversary and expressed that her role had put her “on the map.”

The actress also opened up about her uncertainty about the success of Wayne’s World at the time, stating, “but I knew it was something that was a perfect fit for me.”

To play her role as Cassandra, the lead singer and bassist of the band Crucial Taunt, Tia had to learn Cantonese.

The comedy ultimately racked up a staggering $183.1 million at the box office and garnered critical acclaim, cementing its status as one of the highest-grossing films of 1992.

Tia has remained active in the industry and recently showcased her talents in the 2022 comedy Easter Sunday alongside Jo Koy.

The AJ and Queen actress opened up to The naked magazine about his role in the film and said that “after almost 40 years in the business, it was very exciting to finally play” a Filipino character.

“I have played Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese over the years and now I can remember my childhood memories of my family and neighbors and have fun celebrating everything about being Filipino,” he said.

Carrere added that “after being the sex symbol/slut for decades, it was a lot of fun to play this nasty, disapproving aunt character” in the film.
