While being interviewed as partners on the televised celebrity golf tournament, ‘The Match,’ Wayne Gretzky and Bill Murray laughed at a fellow golfer for crashing his cart in the middle of an interview.
The greatest hockey player of all time and ‘Ghostbusters’ actor won a close matchup over Charles Barkley and Ken Griffey Jr. on the fourth playoff hole to advance to the semifinals.
Murray’s comedic timing is still relevant at 74 years old, like his inner ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedy sketch.
Gretzky may have one-upped the ‘Caddyshack’ star with his first line after the loud bang of the crash, which occurred off-camera, can be heard.
“Down goes Frazier,” the hockey legend said in reference to Howard Cosell’s comment during the 1973 heavyweight title fight between George Foreman and Joe Frazier titled “The Sunshine Showdown.”
“The guy who just heard my confession crashed into the fence over there,” Murray added, laughing out loud with Ernie Johnson, who called the action.

Johnson then asks the cameraman to pan to the left so viewers can see the damage caused by the accident.
Murray himself guides the camera towards the wall where the accident took place.
As the camera veers off course, some people are picking up door slabs that appeared to have been dislodged by the impact of the crash.
Runs! Run,” Murray told the people who picked up the damage from the accident.
‘I can’t understand how they hit the fence. “It’s 40 feet from here,” Gretzky added.
The competition now turns individual as Gretzky will face Murray in a semi-final showdown, with the winner heading to the $1 million final.
