Fashion designer Wayne Cooper has been jailed after allegedly breaching bail conditions on his domestic violence charges.
Cooper, 61, was arrested about 8am on Friday in northern New South Wales after allegedly failing to report to police.
He is accused of assaulting his wife Elizabeth Adams, whom he married in Byron Bay last December.
Cooper has been subject to strict bail conditions after allegedly assaulting Ms Adams twice at a Bondi hotel earlier this month.
NSW Police confirmed a 61-year-old man was arrested in Myocum, 13km northwest of Byron Bay, and charged with one count of breaching bail.
The British-born designer appeared at Parramatta Bail Court via video link on Saturday and was released on bail again.
Cooper has pleaded not guilty to common assault relating to domestic violence and is expected to contest the charge of contravening an AVO.
He will face Waverley Local Court on May 19, 2025.

Cooper and Adams live in a multimillion-dollar resort-style home in Myocum, in the Byron Bay hinterland.
Described in real estate listings as an unparalleled luxury coastal paradise, the three-level, five-bedroom property listed in court documents as Cooper’s residence sold for nearly $3.9 million in 2023.
The British designer popped the question to Adams when he hid an engagement ring in a plate of caviar during a romantic dinner at Bondi Icebergs.
The couple had been dating for just eight months following the breakdown of Cooper’s 25-year relationship with former model Sarah Marsh.
Cooper rose to fame in the 1990s with her fashion brands BRAVE and WAYNE, which were sold in boutiques and Myer stores across the country.
He has also been a recurring guest on the reality show Australia’s Next Top Model.
