Drew Barrymore showered Jason Kelce with flowers backstage at WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
Actress Kelce and her former tag team partner Lane Johnson were celebrity guests at WWE’s two-night celebration running through April 6-7 at Lincoln Financial Field.
After the event, a video surfaced of Barrymore, in character from Flower Power, meeting Kelce and Johnson backstage. He presented Kelce with a gold replica of the WWE belt before covering it in flowers.
“I’m Flower Power,” she said as she walked into the room. Kelce played along with the character and said, “You look amazing.”
“Thank you very much,” Barrymore responded. ‘Flower Power wanted to dress up to present this [belt] That’s been everywhere. It was in the Super Bowl, but it has to get to you, Jason and Lane, and back to Philadelphia.

Kelce and Lane Johnson helped Rey Mysterio and Andrade win their tag team match
The retired Eagles center accepted the belt and thanked Barrymore for presenting it to him.
‘I love this, Flower Power, thank you for handing out the gold belt for WrestleMania,’ Kelce exclaimed before they broke character. Barrymore was the first to break when she introduced herself and gushed about the former Eagle and veteran offensive tackle.
After exchanging introductions and hugs, Barrymore asked Kelce what his ring name would be, to which he responded “Hybernating Jason.” After agreeing that they would be a good team, Barrymore sprinkled the flowers on Kelce.
‘The Rock gave me this fanny pack and I would like to just [sprinkle petals on Kelce,] He said while performing the fun ritual. ‘Remember how I told you that you would be surrounded by nature?’
“Oh, please spray me,” Kelce said, laughing.

Kelce returned to the Eagles home for WrestleMania after retiring from the NFL in March
Kelce and Johnson appeared from the stands wearing wrestler masks during Rey Mysterio and Andrade’s match against Santo Eskobar and Rey’s son Dominik. With their identities hidden, Johnson grabbed a stolen chair from Dominik before Kelce threw him into the ring post and back into the ring.
From there, Rey executed his ‘619’ finish and pinned Eskobar for the victory. Johnson and Kelce then took off their masks as the Philadelphia crowd erupted at the sight of them back at the Eagles’ home.
In March, Kelce announced his retirement after 13 seasons in the NFL, all of them in Philadelphia. On the other hand, Johnson was drafted by the Eagles in 2013 and is entering his 12th season in the league.
