‘Do the Saudis think it’s 2010?’: Watch the excruciating moment of a FLASH MOB on the first tee of the latest LIV Golf event in London
The second LIV Golf tournament in London got off to an incredibly embarrassing start when a flash mob broke out on the first tee.
Golf fans on Twitter groaned as they watched a group of dancers move across the course as the 2010s pop hit “Party Rock Anthem” blared through the speakers.
The dance between the ropes was clearly staged by the event organizers as fans at The Centurion Club watched in a mixture of shock and horror.
Several of those involved in the flash mob wore LIV-branded volunteer bibs, adding to the staged nature.
The video was roasted endlessly on Twitter, as the video posted by LIV’s editorial director, Mike McAllister, was viewed more than two million times.

Jokes abounded, with some wondering: ‘Were the Wimbledon climate change protesters unavailable?’
Another quipped: “Sports wash is now only the second worst thing in LIV golf.”
‘Do the Saudis think it’s 2010?’ another tweet read.
Another person wrote: ‘Imagine teeing off after this. He would be so angry that he would cut the ball on the freeway.

Fans on Twitter were left laughing and writhing in pain as they watched the video.
Sports troll account Three Year Letterman said: “Take something Saudi and sprinkle something British on top and you get something literally no one on earth wants to see.”
“Can’t actually tell if they’re just trying to do a parody version of a golf event right now,” another user tweeted.
Even LIV Golf fans were not happy to see the dance.
“As a LIV supporter this is the most horrible shit I’ve ever seen,” wrote one LIV fan.
Even LIV Golf fans weren’t impressed by the moves the mob pulled at the Centurion Club.
Another said: ‘I like LIV but this is pretty silly. If it’s inside the ropes, it’s not really a flash mob.
“Would have paid a hefty fee to have a camera in Brooks when this was happening,” another user posted.
‘Thought I had a rough day off the tee…’ one user wrote as another complained, ‘This physically hurts to watch.’
Friday marked the first round of the three-round event that returned to the site of the first LIV Golf tournament in June 2022.
