The Metropolitan Police said of the A12 protest: “Officers imposed Section 12 conditions on those involved at 08:56 am. Within two minutes the road was clear.”
A separate protest read: “At 08:03am, Monday 5th June, we were notified of Just Stop Oil demonstrators moving slowly along the road alongside the A13.
“We arrived at the scene at 08:19 and at 08:20 Section 12 terms were issued to those involved. The road was cleared at 08:26.”
Police added that they attended another slow march on Kennington Lane, south London, where two Just Stop Oil supporters were arrested shortly after police issued a Section 12 notice, including a 24-year-old physics graduate.
