Lionel Messi’s bodyguard interrupted Inter Miami’s victory at Sporting Kansas City to tackle a fan who was trying to approach the Argentine superstar.
Yassine Cheuko has been tasked with protecting Messi since the World Cup winner arrived in Major League Soccer last summer.

Several other fans also stormed the field during Saturday’s game. A young fan was tackled by security, while Messi put his arm around another boy before he was taken away.
Despite the distractions, Messi shined at Arrowhead Stadium against Patrick Mahomes as Inter Miami cruised to a dramatic victory.
With Chiefs quarterback Mahomes watching from the stands as part of a record crowd of more than 72,000, Messi scored a wonder goal and created another in Miami’s 3-2 victory.
Luis Suárez secured the three points with the winning goal, 19 minutes from time, after Tata Martino’s team came from behind to claim their first victory in a month. The victory puts Miami at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
