A furious Denver Nuggets head coach, Michael Malone, was caught screaming in the face of referee Marc Davis, on a night when his team fell 2-0 in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In the first quarter, Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards ran into the lane and contacted a Nuggets defender in the lane. Davis did not call a foul on either team, to the dismay of both sides.
But Malone was outraged, coming out onto the court yelling at Davis and getting in his face as he berated the referee for his decision.
Surprisingly, Malone did not receive a technical foul for his anger as he returned to the bench fuming.
He would have a lot more to worry about later that night, as his Nuggets ended up getting defeated 106-80 by Minnesota.
