A fight between two MMA fans broke out at this weekend's UFC 302 event in New Jersey

Fans attending UFC 302 in Newark, New Jersey, were treated to some additional fights in the stands that led to a man being thrown across several rows of seats.

The video shows two men arguing at the Prudential Center as the UFC event was happening behind them.

It’s unclear what started the argument between the men, but the man higher up appeared to be goading the other into starting a fight, saying “slap me” repeatedly.

The man higher up seemed to confront the man below him, which was a step too far, resulting in a punch being thrown at him.

The man in the bottom row lost his balance and fell backwards, but got up and continued punching the man above him.

Finally, a punch connected with the jaw of the man above, causing him to fall forward.

The man below used the momentum of the falling man to send him down a few more rows of seats and continued to punch him repeatedly.

The clip ends with the man in the bottom row falling a short distance over a railing and into the hallway below.

DailyMail.com has contacted Prudential Center for comment on this matter.

As for the night’s two main events, former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland won a five-round split decision over Paulo Costa.

Then, in a fight for the UFC lightweight title, Islam Makhachev was able to defeat Dustin Poirier in the fifth round via submission via a brabo choke.
