New light has been shed on the viral moment in which a defeated fighter sees his marriage proposal rejected inside the cage.
After finding himself on the losing end of a two-on-one duel in the Czech organization Clash of Stars, Lukas Bukovaz took a knee before a crowd at the Ostravar Arena.
The woman’s immediate reaction probably should have been enough to convince Bukovatz that asking the question would not end in success.
“Based on everything that’s happened, I think probably not,” he said into the microphone. ‘I do not think.’
Boos then erupted from the crowd and a man was seen next to the cage trying to throw water on the woman.

Lukas Bukovaz took a knee after suffering a defeat inside the cage, but was rejected.
Bukovaz had competed in a two-on-one fight but despite having a numerical advantage had been defeated.
The clip has since gone viral on social media, with a replay receiving over ten million views on X.
However, it appears that the incident may have actually been a promotional tool to generate excitement for an upcoming fight.
In a social media post, the woman in question revealed that she and Bukovatz had not been together for several months and that she has since had a new boyfriend.
The girl also claimed that Bukovaz had cheated on her with adult film actress Nikola Lauberova.
A fight between the scorned ex and Lauberova, who was previously scheduled to fight on a Clash of Stars card, is reportedly in the works for a future event scheduled for September.
‘Unfortunately, he can’t accept that we won’t be after all this. Anyway, he obviously still loves me, but I don’t…in the end. She wrote on Instagram.
‘Anyway, to tell you what happened to get you in the photo with Lukas, I haven’t been around since January, and since February I have a great boyfriend.
It has since emerged that the couple have not been together for months after Bukovaz was allegedly unfaithful.
Bukovaz is said to have cheated on his girlfriend with Nikola Lauberova, an adult film star.
Lauberova was scheduled to fight in the Clash of Stars promotion in January before withdrawing.
Taking to social media, the woman in question revealed that she was overwhelmed by the support she has received since the incident.
“I challenged Lauberova, so I hope the match happens and if it does, I will do my best (to train) for that.”
She also answered questions about the incident, stating that she would never get back with Bukovaz after he cheated on her.
‘There was nothing else I could do, I won’t be with someone who cheated on me. Next time I might do it again.
