AFL star Warwick Capper slams Ricky Nixon and hires underworld figure Mick Gatto to be ‘security’ at his 60th birthday party to ensure fellow footy legend doesn’t intervene amid feud
AFL stars Warwick Capper and Ricky Nixon compete to see who will have the best 60th birthday party.
After wild man Capper told Nixon he didn’t want a joint 60th birthday with him, the former AFL sports agent decided to bring him back.
Capper planned an extravagant birthday party, celebrated only by him, on July 15 at the Pier Hotel in Port Melbourne.
But Nixon decided to take the spotlight a week earlier, on July 8, by holding his own party at the exact same location.
Before this announcement, it was assumed that Nixon would attend Capper’s birthday bonanza, but he is now no longer welcome.

Speak against The Herald Sunsaid Capper, “He said it’s all about you and of course I said it is, no one knows you.”
“I said you can have 10 people, which is perfect. He’s had so much plastic surgery that tears are running down his back.’
The former Sydney Swans player said guests on the night will include Wayne Carey, Sam Newman and Billy Brownless.
Underworld figure Mick Gatto will also be in attendance, who Capper said is “security to make sure Nixon doesn’t get in.”
After spending $80,000 on his teeth, Capper knows how to splash his cash, and he’s doing just that for his lavish 60th birthday party.

Speak against News Corphe said, “I’ll put $10,000 on the bar and it’ll probably be the last party I’ll have before I die.”
“The theme is just being sexual like me. I only look 39, I’ve had my eyes done and a little Botox, I’m a very attractive man.
“The party is still going on. I’ll have all my friends and it’ll be full of attractive people and great music with me on drums.’
There is an abundance of evening entertainment including performances from Shannon Noll, Boom Crash Opera, Taxiride and Brian Mannix.
The official party has since been postponed, as Capper was initially set to attend The Amazing Race Australia celebrity edition.
Capper turned 60 on June 12, while Nixon reached the milestone birthday on April 3.

Underworld figure Mick Gatto (pictured) will also be in attendance, who Capper says is “security to make sure Nixon doesn’t get in.”
However, he said that he then decided not to do the show when he found out that he would not get enough money for it.
It comes after the news that former AFL star Capper is making money on the Cameo platform.
He charges $151 for a personalized video and $1,057 for a business clip.
Capper is described in his Cameo biography as an “AFL legend, TV megastar and a DJ king.”
Warwick played his entire career for the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Bears.
In his sporting heyday, Capper was Sydney Swans leading goalkeeper for four consecutive seasons in the 1980s.
