Finally, we have a look at Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 with a gameplay trailer that is as uncompromising as the Emperor.
Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 immediately stands out because of how visceral it is using the technological advances between console generations. It’s because the original Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 was released over a decade back, so the violence here is truly spectacular.
The environmental design has been significantly improved. We haven’t seen Adeptus Astartes look this good. It’s evident in the gunplay and melee, as the bulky boys take down waves Orc scum. Jump Packs are making a comeback!
This is only a small sampling of the many surprises at The Game Awards 2022. We’ve also seen Ken Levine’s Judas and Death Stranding 2. It looks like 2023 is going to be a great year.

We’ve waited almost a decade for the next chapter to the Space Marines tale, and the gameplay is absolutely amazing. There are war hammers and jump packs, Chainswords swiping, and bodies upon bodies full of Orcs to ravage!
The mobility of the Space Marines is the real focus of what we are seeing. Everything appears less rigged than the first title, particularly during the moment that involved a Chain Axe as well as the upper body and limbs of an Orc who was not in the right place at the wrong times.
