Warabrook, Newcastle: Worker dies after falling from powerlines at a construction site

A worker died after falling from an electricity pole while at a construction site in Newcastle.

The 45-year-old man could not be revived after falling shortly after midnight on Monday at the Casuarina Circuit site in Warabrook, in the city’s northwest.

Safework NSW is investigating the crash while New South Wales Police forensic officers attended the scene.
