Maybe it’s the oxygen at the top of the AFL ladder that makes Tom Liberatore a little queasy, but the Western Bulldogs star has offered anyone who mentions his name a free Parmigian meal at any of his two pubs.
The Western Bulldogs’ best first quarter in 12 years set up a dominating 55-point win over Richmond to crush the Tigers’ final aspirations.
The Bulldogs’ midfield took off, as captain Marcus Bontempelli, Adam Treloar and Liberatore picked off the opposing midfield brigade.
Liberatore finished with 31 touches, including 17 kicks, 14 handballs and 12 tackles in the dominating victory.
He was clearly in good spirits after the match when he was interviewed by veteran Channel 7 reporter and commentator Brian Taylor, and offered free parmas to anyone who visited one of his two Melbourne pubs.

The offer cemented Libba’s position as one of the nicest guys in the AFL and fans were quick to praise him for the gesture.
“We all need to appreciate Libba – he looks and acts like a dude in ressies, you just know he’d have a beer and a dart in hand if he was passable,” one fan posted.
‘Libba is one of the best characters in the AFL today,’ added another.
“Libba a man of the people loves him and I’m a Bombers supporter,” another AFL fan replied.
‘Onya Libba another great game. Mona Castle Hotel Seddon is by far the best pub food in the West,” added another.
The Ascot Vale Hotel has been renovated under Liberatore and now wants you to check it out with a free parma.

The Mona Castle Hotel is steeped in history and offers a new menu with many old favourites, including the classic parma.
Both places have been recently renovated under Liberatore’s ownership and include positive reviews from locals looking for cold pot and hot parma.

Seddon’s Corner Pub has been serving drinks since 1874 and has a new life as the Mona Castle Hotel under Libba.
