Who can claim?
Anyone who bought the items in the deal between October 19, 2018 and January 19 this year can claim.
These are mainly packages of meat and seafood, such as beef, pork, chicken and fish, and bags of citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits and tangerines.
A court hearing on June 12 will decide exactly what money the claimants will receive.
Before that, all Wamart shoppers who believe they purchased those items at that time must file a claim by June 5.
How to claim?

What are the products?
There are two main categories: heavy produce and bagged citrus.

What did Walmart do?
Walmart is accused of charging in more than three ways.
First, he is said to have inflated the weight of the meat and seafood product when they were scanned at the cash register.
Secondly, he is accused of having wrongly labeled the weight of citrus bags and nets. The lawsuit says the weight of the fruit was less than what the label said.

Do I need a receipt?
You do not need a receipt to file a claim.
But you may not receive as much if you don’t have a receipt, since the amount is limited.

How much can I get?
With a receipt or other proof of purchase showing prices, you can get up to 2 percent of what you paid, up to a maximum of $500.
This is because prices for meat packages or bags were about 2 percent higher.
For those without a receipt, the quantities are smaller and there are limits based on the number of items you think you purchased.
Those who claim to have purchased 50 items receive $10. From 51 to 75, it costs $15. And from 76 to 100 it costs $20. If they say they bought 101 or more, the amount is $25.
How is the money paid?
Payments are made electronically through services such as Venmo, Zelle, AXH, or prepaid virtual Mastercard.
Claimants can get a paper check if they are unable to receive money electronically.
Is everything confirmed?
The settlement was agreed to by lawyers for Walmart and the buyer who filed the claim.
But it has not yet been approved by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, which is overseeing the case.
A final approval hearing is scheduled for June 12.
