Walkers has announced there are no plans to bring back a much-loved crunchy flavour, leaving UK fans disappointed and begging for its return.
The British crisp giant’s Sensations range includes a premium range of crisps, poppadoms and nuts in a variety of bold, bold flavours.
Some of their most popular crispy variations include Thai Sweet Chili, Balsamic Vinegar and Caramelized Onion and Roasted Chicken and Thyme.
However, a limited-edition exotic flavor, which is no longer available, has left dozens of fans longing for its return.
Sensations Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Crisps were first introduced to the existing range for a limited time in 2015.
Walkers has announced it is discontinuing its beloved crunchy flavor for good, leaving UK fans disappointed and begging for its return.
One exotic limited-edition flavor was unexpectedly dropped last year: Sensations’ Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Crisps, which were first introduced to the existing range in 2015.
Although it quickly became a fan favorite (with scores of crispy potato lovers rushing to their local supermarkets to fill their baskets with this tasty treat), the flavor was later discontinued.
In the flavor description on the back of the package, it said: “First, the deep, smoky flavor of the chipotle pepper gives way to sweet pepper and onion, before finishing with a lingering heat.”
Responding to a cheep On X in October 2023, when a fan asked if the flavor would return, Walkers confirmed that Mexican Chipotle Sensations will not be returning anytime soon.
The fan wrote: ‘Any plans to bring back Fiery Sweet Chipotle Mexican Fries? Even as a limited edition? to which the crispy brand responded: ‘No comebacks planned, but we’re always listening!’

Another wrote: ‘Have you ever tried sweet chipotle flavored Mexican Sensations? Now that they tasted the best, I wish Walkers would bring them back.”
A third person, attaching a photo of a shopping basket filled to the brim with several packets of the flavor, wrote: “Make Mexican Fiery Sweet Chipotle Sensations again, you cowards.”
One disheartened fan even gave the crisps a 10 out of 10, writing: “Two of the best flavors of Walkers crisps to date.”
Several other gutted fans took to X to beg for the return of the “best” Walkers flavor.

It comes after UK crisp lovers were disappointed to learn another popular flavor disappeared from shelves last year.
Walkers confirmed to a snack fan on X (formerly Twitter) that it no longer makes salt and vinegar quavers.
There was further disappointment expressed that the news was only revealed as a result of the crunchy giant responding to a fan.
Addressing X, the social media user named Linda asked: ‘Have you stopped making eighth notes with salt and vinegar? I can’t find them anywhere.’
To which Walkers responded: “We’re sorry to tell you Linda, but we won’t be making this flavor anymore.”
