‘I knew one of two things was going to happen. “Either the video would have no views and I would be fine, or it would blow up and I would have to deal with some consequences,” Björk said. WNCT.

Herrera revealed that the only reason he brought the inflatable doll to the restaurant was because he had to face punishment for losing his fantasy football league.

“The funny thing is that it was my idea,” Herrera said, adding that he is the ‘commissioner’ of the league who plays with his friends.

The now viral video begins with the moment when Bjork notices the doll in the middle of the roof, sitting in front of Herrera.

“Okay, I’m not supposed to do TikTok at work, but this requires it,” he says.

“I work at a nice restaurant in Charlotte and I need you guys to see what just walked in the door.”

Bjork then turns her camera and zooms in on Herrera sitting with the doll in front of a fountain in the center of the restaurant.

The inflatable doll, dressed in a black dress with red cherries, with short blonde hair, is seen lounging in the chair while Herrera looks at her phone.

Bjork then hands the camera back to him while covering her face and is left speechless, only saying “I-“.

In a separate TikTok video posted the next day, Herrera showed the experience from his perspective.

Although Bjork lost her job for filming and publishing the occasional interaction, she already has another job lined up.

The video shows a carousel of clips from their date night, starting with an image of the doll trying to sit in the chair with the caption: ‘BROTHER PLEASE.’

He then shows a photo of him partially covering his face with his hand with the caption: “I want to cry.”

Another image shows Herrera with a hamburger in front of him, while the doll eats a large salad. Herrera also ordered the couple drinks and chips to share.

Bjork said that witnessing the entire date was a completely different experience as everyone in the restaurant was in shock.

‘I had three other tables at the time. Two of them were talking to each other about it,” she said.

‘One of my coworkers’ tables was giving him updates on what was happening. At one point she was giving him grapes.

Although she realized the entire interaction was a joke, Bjork said Herrera was committed to the prank that caused her to leave the room.

“Putting the doll in was one of the most mortifying moments because it was obviously stiff and inflated, it wasn’t sitting. So, I was trying to maneuver it in the chair and it was, oh my God, it was so bad to watch,” Björk recalled.

Herrera said she doesn’t mind Bjork filming the moment, as she expected it to draw a lot of attention.

“When I was sitting there, I saw like six phones recording me,” he said. “I knew sooner or later the video would be somewhere.”

Although Bjork lost her job for filming and publishing the occasional interaction, she already has another job lined up.

“I think for professional purposes, just do what’s right for your job, but also follow your heart and do what feels right to you,” he said.

Meanwhile, Herrera said he plans to change the punishment for his fantasy football team next year.
