The wheels of television justice kept turning on Wednesday despite a quiet morning at the grand jury investigation of former President Trump.
Social media posts and photographers captured the cast and crew of “Law & Order: SVU” working near the Manhattan courthouse where the panel was weighing charges over Trump’s hush money payments to porn star Stormy. Daniels after a sexual encounter.
One photo showed the Ice-T star sitting on the outdoor set while looking at his phone, while another showed the rapper-turned-actor flashing a peace sign as he walked through Foley Square.
The wait for Trump’s indictment dragged on Wednesday, with few details emerging about the timing of his return to Manhattan to face possible criminal charges.
It is unclear when Trump will return to New York as part of the impeachment and what the future grand jury schedule will be.
