Most Donald Trump supporters don’t care if the former president is convicted of a crime.
Rather, Americans say the economy, inflation and crime top their list of what matters when they vote in November.
A new ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday shows that 88 percent of voters put the economy at the top of their list of issues when they go to the polls this fall, and 14 percent favor Trump to handle the issue against President Joe Biden .
Eighty-five percent of voters also say inflation is important to them in this year’s election, with crime and safety coming in third, while 77 percent of voters say it is a top issue.
On nearly every election issue in the top 10, voters say they trust Trump more than Biden to handle them.
Additionally, 80 percent of Trump supporters say they would continue voting for the former president if he were convicted before the election, the latest poll reveals.
