It does not include the level of next-gen technology of the Vivo Nex, but the new Vivo V11 comes for the very first time to other markets outside of China.
Vivo has announced that the phone will come to India and Thailand after being available in China for a while, and it will soon be coming to other markets as well.
We do not know at the moment whether those markets will include the US, the UK or Australia, and since Vivo has not yet issued any phones on these markets, this is unlikely to happen.
The Vivo V11 has a built-in fingerprint scanner, similar to the one we saw on the Vivo Nex. However, there is no pop-up selfie camera like on that phone, this is a much more traditional phone.
It comes with what the company calls a Halo FullView view, which is a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.27%. , which is not far from the Oppo Find X, which has 93.8%.
There is a small notch at the top of the screen, something that is often referred to as a tear-shaped notch.
The body of the phone has curved glass at the back and is available in the colors Starry Night or Nebula, all with striking shiny effects on the back of the phone.
At the back of the Vivo V11 is a camera with two sensors that combines a 12 MP lens with a 5 MP lens. The front of the phone then has an even more powerful 25MP camera.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset combined with 6 GB of RAM, plus 128 GB of internal storage. There is no word about whether there is microSD support.
The Vivo V11 has a 3.400mAh battery that also offers fast charging functions.
Pricing and release date details for the Vivo V11 are currently unclear, but we expect them to learn very soon for India. We will certainly update when we hear about the further markets where Vivo will call.
