A traveler has been called out for resting his bare feet on the armrest of a chair while on a plane.
Another passenger on the Virgin flight, flying from the Gold Coast to Melbourne on Wednesday afternoon, took a photo of the inappropriate act.
“This must be one of the most disgusting things I’ve seen on a flight in a long time,” they wrote, sharing the photo on a Facebook group.
The passenger sitting in the front seat had a service dog with them while the seat next to him was empty.
Another passenger on the Virgin flight flying from the Gold Coast to Melbourne on Wednesday afternoon snapped a photo of the traveler’s inappropriate act.
The person behind them carelessly hooked both feet on the armrest of the empty chair, startling a nearby traveler.
The passenger who took the photo revealed that after ‘putting up with it’ for 20 minutes, he politely asked him to remove his feet.
“They thought it was okay because the seat was empty,” they said.
Other Facebook users revealed their own horror stories while on the air.
I was once in the seat where the feet stuck out. Attached to a backpacker (so you can imagine the smell). Long distance from Paris to Singapore. It was extremely disgusting and I covered them with a blanket,” said one.
“Reminds me of time flying by and the person sitting next to me started picking dead skin off their feet and shaking it off,” said another.
