Hugh Sheridan has fought back tears as he spoke about allegedly murdered couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

Detectives allege Baird, 26, and Davies, 29, were shot dead by NSW Police Senior Constable Beau Lamarre-Condon at Baird’s apartment in Paddington, eastern Sydney, around 9.50am on Monday.

Lamarre-Condon has been charged with two counts of murder.

Sheridan, who previously revealed he had been friends with Davies, was overcome with emotion as he spoke about the couple’s deaths during a Virgin Australia Pride flight on Friday, ahead of Saturday’s Mardi Gras parade.

Virgin Australia announced it had made a donation to the Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation in the wake of the alleged murders.

‘For me it is the most conflictive moment. “I feel like everything I do or say is under scrutiny,” Sheridan told Daily Mail Australia.

“It’s probably been the strangest, most horrible days ever because you’re just trying to piece everything together and make everything okay.”

Sheridan, who appeared on the verge of tears, struggled to get the words out but said every day was a “nightmare” and revealed she had been a victim of domestic violence.

“Nobody knows about my own domestic violence situation that I was in. It’s the most shit proof there’s ever been,” she said.

Before Davies and Baird’s bodies were found, Sheridan re-shared a social media post from NSW Police asking for help finding Luke, adding the caption: “Please help me find my Dude, I’m very worried.”

Sheridan had previously asked for help to find Mr Davies. His body has since been located.

‘Beautiful Lucas. We are all thinking of you, your family and your angels.

‘I pray that wherever you are now you will not be afraid. It would be very difficult to find a heart sweeter than yours.

Human remains belonging to Davies and Baird were discovered stuffed inside surf bags and buried in a solitary grave in a bush on Tuesday afternoon.

Their alleged killer allegedly rented a white rental van to transport their bodies to a remote farm property in Bungonia, about 180 kilometers southwest of Sydney.

He is alleged to have then returned to the scene to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia, about a 20-minute drive away.

Lamarre-Condon is currently behind bars at the Silverwater Correctional Complex in western Sydney.

He is scheduled to return to court in April.
