Westfield Doncaster schoolgirls fight: Violent moment two teen girls from prestigious high schools are caught on film brawling at a food court

Shocking images have emerged of two girls from prestigious schools throwing punches at each other in a violent fight in a shopping center in front of horrified onlookers.

The dramatic incident took place in the food court of the Westfield Doncaster shopping center in Melbourne’s northeast on Friday afternoon.

The two teenagers, one of whom reportedly attends Carey Baptist Grammar School and the other Balwyn High School, were seen throwing punches at each other.

In the footage, a girl wearing a bright orange t-shirt and sweatpants is seen fighting with another girl wearing a white t-shirt and gym shorts.

During the fight, the girl in the orange shirt forced the other girl to the ground and began hitting her head several times.

Shocking footage has emerged of a violent fight between two students (pictured) attending prestigious secondary schools in Melbourne.

The girl on the ground tried to cover herself and protect herself from the blows.

Two other teenagers who were nearby were seen fighting the incident on their phones.

The girl in the white T-shirt managed to get up and continue the fight before a man and a woman intervened to separate the couple.

It is understood the girls were involved in a heated exchange via Snapchat before tensions boiled over, leading to the physical altercation.

The latest incident is one of several recent fights that have occurred between school students in the shopping complex’s food court.

Carey Grammar principal Johnathan Walter said the elite university, which charges parents a whopping $37,976 a year in school fees for Year 11 and 12 students, was investigating the incident.

“(The school) is aware of an incident that took place outside of school that involved an altercation between two teenagers, one of whom is a new student at Carey,” Mr. Walter told the Herald of the sun.

‘The school is currently carrying out an investigation into the incident and is providing appropriate support, advice and care to the student and her family.

“Carey takes all allegations of inappropriate student behavior very seriously and we are in discussions with the student, parents, law enforcement and counselors to fully understand the situation before taking any further action.”

Horrified onlookers finally managed to separate the couple (pictured) following the senseless fight.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Carey Grammar and Balwyn High School for further comment.

A Victorian Department of Education spokesperson told the Daily Mail in a statement that violence has no place in schools.

“Victoria’s public schools have zero tolerance for any type of violence and incidents of physical altercations in schools are extremely rare,” the spokesperson said.

“If any student is alleged to be involved in any illegal activity outside of the school environment, the school will always work proactively and closely with Victoria Police who are responsible for investigating criminal conduct.”

A Victoria Police spokesperson said they had been made aware of the incident, however at this time no formal report has been made into the altercation.

Videos recently circulating on social media show dozens of high school students involved in violent fights with each other.

Over the past six months, more than a hundred so-called ‘fight club’ videos have been uploaded to social media showing students – many of whom attend elite private schools in Melbourne – throwing other students to the ground before punch and kick them in disturbing scenes. .

Anyone who witnessed the incident at the food court or has further information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
