Viola gave a moving 16-minute speech while accepting the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award. Meanwhile, during the black-tie gala dinner, Ted received the Carol Burnett Award.
He reflected on how his turbulent upbringing fueled his passion for acting as an escape and how financial need often influenced his choice of roles.
