MADRID — Real Madrid striker Vinicius Jr lamented that “racism” continues to be one of the current issues in football, but confessed that little by little it was solved by highlighting LaLiga’s measures, while announcing a family project in Brazil to help children who suffer from racism.
“It is always difficult to talk about racism, but with each passing day we go a little further in the direction to have to talk less about it,” he said in statements to the media.
The Madrid player is summoned by his team, after the World Cup in Qatar, for a friendly against Morocco on Saturday. “I am with my family thinking about a project to help children in Brazil who suffer from racism”, revealed the Brazilian.
