Vince Vaughn made a rare public appearance with his family to celebrate the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday.
The Swingers star, 54, was joined by his wife Kyla, 45, and their two children – daughter Locklyn, 13, and son Vernon, 11 – as he paid emotional tribute to them from the podium during the ceremony.
“My beautiful wife Kyla, I’m so happy you’re with me in this right now, I’m so thankful for you and these beautiful kids and all the laughs we shared together,” Vince said of his wife, whom he married in 2010.
“As much as this means to you, Vernon and Locklyn, you really need to know that you are the most important thing in the world to me,” she added.
The event also featured appearances by celebrities including Mel Gibson and Peter Billingsley, as well as Bill Lawrence, the mastermind behind Scrubs and Ted Lasso, who currently serves as executive producer on Vaughn’s latest series, Bad Monkey.

During his speech, Vince jokingly commented that while it was great to have famous friends in the audience, his wife and children were the most important people in the audience.
“You’re not that lucrative and you don’t give me access to the kind of things these kinds of companies do,” he joked.
“But having said all that, you guys are the most important thing and I love you all so much. It’s great to have you with me.”
Also present at the hearing were Vaughn’s parents, Vernon Vaughn and Sharon Eileen Depalmo.
Her two sisters, Valeri and Victoria Vaughn, also joined in to celebrate the special occasion with the family.
In a recent interview with The New York Times MagazineVaughn said fatherhood has been a huge “joy,” noting that it has made him more “empathetic, patient and adept at encouraging.”
While Vince is promoting his new Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey, he recently talked about doing a sequel to his smash hit Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.
“They’ve always talked about this stuff and I had an idea that was fun and the studio liked it, so we’ll see where it goes,” Vaughn said. The Hollywood Reporter.

Oscar winner Mel dressed up for the occasion in a pair of shorts.
Vince was last seen in public with his family at the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Houston Rockets at Crypto.com Arena in January 2023.

Vince, who played Pete LaFleur, the owner of Average Joe’s Gym, revealed that Ben Stiller is open to reprising his role as White Goodman, the scheming owner of Globo Gym, as long as there’s a fun new script.
“I think Ben (Stiller) is open to doing it, I think he’s in the same boat as me, which is if it’s a cool idea and it’s really fun, then it’s fun, but if it’s just something that has to be repeated, then why?” Vaughn explained.
