Two farmers at the center of a feud that went viral on TikTok have hit back at their millionaire advisor, claiming they were “exhausted” from lambing season.
Rosie Howes, 27, and partner Scott Brame, 30, made headlines yesterday after she posted a TikTok video of the confrontation with their neighbor Philip Cholerton, 56, over prunings.
But Mr Brame hit back today saying he had a ‘short fuse’ because he and his partner Miss Howes were ‘busy lambing’, so they gave it to Mr Cholerton with ‘both barrels’.
He said, ‘I don’t normally bother, but I had a short fuse that day because we were busy lambing.
“We were literally almost done lambing and I had been doing 18 hour days so he got it with both barrels. Normally I’m not like that. It was just the heat of the situation. We didn’t expect it to take off like this.’

The couple who keep sheep on 200 acres of rented farmland were furious after finding the branches piled up in their field in Winfarthing near Diss, Norfolk.
Rosie filmed Scott picking up the clippings with the fork of his tractor and throwing it back into the garden on the other side of the hedge.
Her video, which has been viewed more than 620,000 times, shows the pair exchanging insults with their middle-aged neighbor after he confronted them about it.
Mr Brame explained the argument that took place on 9 April and said he had lost his temper with the pressure of working long hours during lambing season for the 160 ewes he and Rosie keep in fields in the Diss area and around Beccles, Suffolk .
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, he added: ‘We had problems earlier last year with cutting the hedge and dumping on our side. Our landlords were angry and kindly asked him to clean it up and he got some men to work for him to clean it up.
“But they just dragged the bits of hedge across the field and left bits everywhere.
“This time they were really upset because they’re elderly and they asked me if there was anything I could do about it, so I said, ‘I’ll just give it back if you want.’ They said, “Oh yes, that would be very kind of you,” so we did.
“But he was there when we put him back. I was so damn tired, I just had a bit of a go. What touched me was when he said, “It’s your fault you never mowed my hedge.” But it was his hedge to cut. He’s not a farmer and he has quite a large garden.’

Rosie, who lives with Scott in Botesdale, Suffolk, told MailOnline that she “didn’t really talk” to her neighbor in Winfarthing.
When asked if she would try to make it up to him, she replied, “I think we’ll just leave it as it is.”
The video Rosie posted to her TikTok account norfolkshepherdess101 showed Scott scooping up the trimmed hedge into his tractor with the caption, “Cleaning up the nice neighbor’s hedge after it was dumped on our side without permission.”
While he is not identified in the video, MailOnline can also reveal he is former Shell executive Philip Cholerton, 56, who lives in a £1 million Georgian farmhouse.
Her video, which has been viewed more than 620,000 times, shows the pair exchanging insults with their middle-aged neighbor after he confronted them about it.
Mr. Cholerton bought his Grade II listed five-bedroom home in 2013 and is a partner in London-based consultancy and services company NovAzure.
The marketing expert is described on the company’s website as having 25 years of experience as a “strategic leader within oil and energy retail and industrial companies.”
He has been a partner at the agency since 2021, which prides itself on helping clients ‘accelerate the transition to Net Zero in energy and mobility’.
Mr. Cholerton states on his LinkedIn profile that the company’s goal is to “build long-term relationships of trust and act as a ‘thinking partner’ to leadership teams.”
He adds that he is driven by values such as ‘green the world’, ‘humility and learning’ and ‘honesty, integrity and inclusiveness’.
Mr. Cholerton also mentions on LinkedIn that he is treasurer of the 13th-century St. Mary’s Church near his home. He did not respond to requests for comment.

Rosie (pictured), who lives with Scott in Botesdale, Suffolk, told MailOnline she ‘didn’t really talk’ to her neighbor in Winfarthing.
The video shows Mr. Cholerton appearing to be complaining, but he can barely be heard over the noise of the machines, so Scott hangs up and Rosie yells, “You dumped it here.”
He replies, “Every year you leave it a mess, you have no right to.”
Scott is then heard to say, “You have no right to dump it on this side.”
The neighbor responds with, “You’ve never helped with the hedge.”
Scott makes him repeat what he says before replying, “This is your hedge mate.”
Mr. Cholerton admits “I know” before Scott demands, “So what the hell are you doing cutting it and dumping it on this side?”
The marketing boss then adds, “You don’t give a monkey. You never, ever cut that side there.”
Scott replied, “Why should I?” It’s your hedge,” before Mr. Cholerton accused him of leaving “all those weeds” on his lawn.
The farmer snapped back, “I leave whatever the hell I want.”
After more inflammatory insults where they both used the “f***” word, Mr. Cholerton replies, “Okay, I can put it back if necessary.”
Rosie then steps in and says, “You’re not going to put it back, we’ll keep dumping it here, you can call the police.”
Mr. Cholerton then starts storming off, yelling, “Oh p*** off you dirty piece of work.”
Rosie replies, “No, we’re not a dirty job,” before Mr. Cholerton launches a final bizarre insult, saying, “You’re a miserable smelly person,” before adding, “Yeah, f*** off.”
Rosie yells back, “Yeah, we’re screwing.”

The video shows the couple using their tractor to pick up the large piles of hedge trimmings and throw them back over the fence

The couple complained to Mr Cholerton that he had left a pile of hedge trimmings (pictured) on their land
The video has garnered more than 14,000 likes and more than 1,800 comments from TikTok users who were divided over Rosie’s approach.
One user wrote: ‘The hedge is on its side of the fence. Even if you cut it, you can legally lay the cuttings on their side.’
Another said, “You’re absolutely right, but using less language with the man might have been better.” Let that man embarrass himself in front of the authorities.’
While a third commented, “Just return their property as any good neighbor would.”
Rosie said earlier this week: ‘The hedge was planted long ago without permission, the hedge is his side of the fence.
“He entered our field without the landowner’s permission to mow it, and then he had the audacity to leave his clippings outside the fence, which is dangerous for our sheep.”
She added: “He’s done this before and made a mess on our pitch. He also drains his septic tank on our ditch, which is quite repulsive.
“The relationship with this neighbor has always been mutual until now. I thought his reaction was funny.
“He insulted us in front of the video and was very unpleasant, which is why I decided to film – but I haven’t seen him since the incident.”
