A young woman was sunbathing on a beach when she was ‘rudely interrupted’ by an older man who was passing by.

Astrid was sitting on the sand fully clothed and minding her own business when the man made a comment that many called “disturbing.”

“Hi, if you want to sunbathe and you don’t have a swimsuit, that’s fine. It’s a nudist beach, you should take everything off,” she is heard saying in a video.

Astrid tried to laugh it off before he replied that he was “serious”; after an awkward pause, he changed his tone, said he was joking, and walked away.

The awkward interaction left Astrid shaken, as she was simply trying to film a “cute TikTok” and enjoy the scenery in peace.

The clip has since been viewed more than 371,000 times and has outraged many women, many of whom have suffered similar behaviour.

Most agreed the comment was “disgusting,” while others argued that older generations have a “dry sense of humor.”

“Old people say the strangest things,” wrote one.

“Um, what the hell? I’m so sorry, honey,” said another.

“Oh my god what’s wrong with people? Can’t we have anything? Hope you’re okay girl,” added a third.

“It’s very uncomfortable to have those comments made to you. I’m so sorry! You handled it the best you could. I thought this was going to be a good thing.”

This was not a nude beach, I understand that he was being very kind, but situations like this can be awkward for others, especially younger girls, who may not understand his humor, and some things are just not funny to some. Please think before you say it, my loves. I’m just spreading kindness

Others gave the man the benefit of the doubt based on his age and said such comments would have been acceptable “in his day.”

“I’ve had some old ladies say similar creepy things to me. Old people are just weird. But I don’t think anything of it, I just move on and see the funny side,” one wrote.

“I don’t think he was trying to be inappropriate. The older generation can have a dry sense of humor and I think he was just trying to be funny,” said another.

“Imagine what it was like in the 70s,” said another.
