“On June 2, we recorded six deaths, four of them in the Dakar region and two in the Ziguinchor region,” a spokesman for Interior Minister Maham Ka told AFP.
Clashes erupted on Friday evening between small groups of young demonstrators and the police in Dakar, its suburbs, and the south of the country.
