Despite the devastation left by the Russian bombing in more than one Ukrainian city, graduates of two schools in Chernihiv, which were bombed by Russian planes in March 2022, danced in the destroyed courtyard.
The ninth graders finished their studies at another school, but returned to their home school for the graduation ceremony.
Anna, one of the graduates, said: “We have been dancing wherever we planned since our childhood and we are not going to give up on that.”
