A large group of climate activists blocked the motorway in The Hague on Saturday afternoon to demand an end to fossil fuel subsidies.

This is the seventh time that activists have gathered on the main road linking The Hague to the German border.

Police reportedly put some protesters on buses and took them away from the protest site.
