An American tourist was arrested in Thailand after being filmed with offensive remarks, threatening the locals with murder and rape, and then breaking a glass mirror at a restaurant he allegedly harassed the owner.
Daniel Franckowiak, 46, from Bismarck, North Dakota, was detained last Tuesday by the local police in Chiang Mai, a city in the mountainous north of Thailand.
Franckowiak allegedly verbally abused and threatened Salita Akaruean, a small restaurant owner in Chiang Mai, according to the Thai researcher.

On his Facebook page, Franckowiak claims to be CEO of LutherCorp, the fictional company of villain Lex Luthor of the Superman comics.

In another Facebook post, he writes that he has been arrested three times in nine weeks in Thailand.
Records show that Franckowiak was also arrested in North Dakota in 2017.
He was charged with drug-related crimes.
