A friend went viral after making his girlfriend think she landed a stroke of luck on a scratch card.
Patrick Bermigham, of Carlow, Ireland, filmed his partner Amy Keegan – whom he described as a frontline worker – and scraped away on a fake map he found on Amazon.
Thinking she had won € 50,000, an ecstatic Amy started celebrating while Patrick kept the camera spinning, he said The Irish mirror.
But after a few moments of joy, the key worker began to read the fine print, revealing the joke, stirring Patrick’s laughter as Amy began to slap him in the side.
The joke later went viral after Patrick shared it on his Facebook account.

In the video, the couple can each scratch a map in Patrick’s car while parked at a gas station.
The friend explained to the mirror that he had bought a real card for himself at the station and took out the fake card, which he got from Amazon a few days earlier.

Amy started celebrating and said she had a “dream about the nits and that would bring good luck”, adding that she was about to pass out.
But Amy turned when she started reading the fine print on the card to see how to claim her prize.
“Claim forms must be filled out completely and are only available in your dreams … keep them in a safe place so you always know where it is and remember the day you thought you won an absolute fortune,” she read, before she turned to Patrick in disbelief.

Patrick burst into hysteria when a smiling Amy started kicking his arm.
“Is that a crazy joke,” she asked, slightly irritated.
“Where did you get that from,” she shouted, while Patrick continued to laugh uncontrollably.
The prankster later shared the video to his Facebook profile, where it quickly went viral, got over 60,000 views and reached 3,000 likes and 2,500 comments.
“Amy caught herself beautifully when she thought she was winning $ 50,000 with a fake scratch card,” he wrote and shared the post.
People thought the joke was hilarious but felt for Amy’s crushed dreams.
“O god the poor girl,” said one of them.
“I’d kill you, you’re going to be vigilant until she gets you back,” said another.
“I would have killed you,” said someone.
Amy herself responded to the message and jokingly wrote, “Someone is waking me up from this bad dream.”
