Nikki Osborne has been announced as the new addition to Nova’s 106.9 Brisbane breakfast team.
And the comedian, known for her controversial comedy style, celebrated her new hire by resurfacing an old clip that she claims got her ‘fired’ from Channel Nine.
“It’s oldie but goodie,” breakout breakfast star Nova, 43, captioned the video shared on Instagram.
In the pictures, the comedian was seen in a debate-style segment about rompers during an appearance on Channel Nine breakfast show Mornings.
Nikki was asked if she thought “grown women look weird in onesies” while talking about “comfortable pajamas” being sexier for couples.
“My husband says don’t look at the turkey while you’re stuffing it,” she joked, referring to whether wearing sexy lingerie in bed is attractive to one’s spouse.

In a video shared on Instagram, Nikki opened up about her sex life during an appearance on breakfast show Nine Mornings.
As presenter Sonia Kruger was seen putting a hand to her face and suppressing laughter, David Campbell joked: “What does that mean?”
‘I won’t explain it…’ Osborne replied.
“But I think too many hipsters have been interviewed about this, because I think most men would prefer women in lingerie than their jimmy jams or onesies.”
“I mean, let’s face it, rompers are a logistical nightmare if you’re trying to get into a jiggery-pokery, because it’s like ‘oh, give me five minutes.'”
Campbell wasn’t looking forward to hearing more, telling Osborne, “After hearing what your husband says, I’m not even looking forward to Thanksgiving anymore,” while Kruger joked, “There goes that sandwich.” turkey that I was going to have for lunch.” .’
Sharing the ‘oldie but goodie’ clip on her Instagram over the weekend, Osborne wrote: ‘Gobble Gobble #fyp #controversy #turkeystuffing.’
Osbourne, who appeared on the 2020 season of Australia’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. – previously revealed that he lost his job at the network during the on-air segment.
‘Yes, they fired me. It lasted 3 weeks,’ he said in 2022.

The comedian’s new radio show, Ash, Luttsy & Nikki Osborne, will see her join Ash Bradnam and David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral in 2025.
Nikki will replace former Olympic swimmer Susie O’Neill, who sensationally quit the live show last month.
I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! The star said she has “big fins to fill”, referencing Susie’s career in the pool, but said she was “confident” Brisbane will embrace her.
‘Sure, I get into trouble a bit, but I have two older brothers in Ash and Luttsy and I have no doubt they’ll throw me even further off course.’ she said.
‘I love Brisbane. “I grew up here and I look forward to having a lot of laughs with our listeners in this amazing city.”
Ash and Luttsy said they were excited to welcome Nikki.
“A Brissie local whose experience in the entertainment industry is second to none, we know Nikki will be an incredible addition to the team,” they gushed in a statement.

Nikki’s experience as a comedy veteran, writer, trained actress and comedian spans the last two decades.
The comedian also maintains a popular presence on social media and is known for the quirky characters she plays.
Characters like ‘Angry Aunt’ and ‘Bush Barbie’ have earned her a large following and tens of millions of views.
In 2020, the comedian appeared on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, finishing in 13th place.
She also competed on this year’s season of Dancing with the Stars, reaching the grand finale.
