Victoria Monét took to her Instagram platform to talk about her struggle with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) this week.
The 34-year-old singer, who took her daughter Hazel to the Grammys this year, shared a photo of herself performing at Coachella on her Instagram Stories and reflected on how the condition has affected her body.
“Well… I gained a lot of weight and it went to a lot of places, lol, face, arms, belly and, most effectively… dat*ssss,” she wrote to her 1.8 million followers.
She wore a halterneck suit and chaps for the performance, singing her hit songs with an image of the moon projected behind her.
Making light of her physical changes, she added: “I’m normally very critical and frustrated because PCOS has really ruined me, but optimistically at least now there are two moons in the picture.”
