Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to troll her husband David after he nearly slipped at Lionel Messi’s presentation to join MLS team Inter Miami.
Messi’s presentation was delayed by torrential rain in Miami and when things finally went ahead, Beckham nearly slipped while walking onto a platform in the middle of the soccer field.
While he did manage to avoid the embarrassment of falling, it did not go unnoticed that night or by his wife on social media.
She shared the video of the moment with the hilarious caption: “He’s not a natural on the runway.”
Beckham himself, for his part, also saw the funny side and shared the video on his own Instagram story. He wrote ‘I mean’ with a crying laughing emoji.

But luckily for Beckham, everything else with Messi on the night went according to plan.
Fortunately for Beckham, he stayed on his feet and there was no shame in a great night for his Miami team and for Major League Soccer itself.
Messi, considered by many to be the greatest soccer player of all time, will likely make his Miami debut on Friday night against Cruz Azul in the newly formed Copa de las Ligas.
He is expected to participate in an open training session with his new teammates from Miami on Tuesday.
Speaking during the ceremony itself, Messi thanked Beckham for his part in bringing him to Miami.
